I’m Cindy Lajoie, an IATA-accredited independent travel advisor based in DeLand, Florida. I help individuals, couples, families, and groups plan cruises and destination vacations without having to sort through all the options and details on their own.
I serve travelers throughout Orlando, Orange County, Volusia County, and beyond, providing personal guidance from the first vacation idea through the final details of the trip.
And something I want every traveler to know from the beginning: I do not charge my clients a planning fee. My travel planning services are free to you because I’m compensated by the travel suppliers.
That means you can have a real person in your corner without adding another planning expense to your vacation.
Why I Became a Travel Advisor
I love what a great vacation can do.
It can give a family uninterrupted time together. It can bring old friends back around the same table. It can turn an anniversary into a memory you’ll never forget. Sometimes, it can simply give you the chance to put your feet in the sand, turn off your phone, and enjoy being somewhere different for a while.
But getting to that point isn’t always as relaxing as the vacation itself.
There are cruise lines, ships, cabins, resorts, destinations, flights, excursions, dining options, packages, and countless reviews to compare. What starts as excitement can quickly turn into hours of searching.
I became a travel advisor because I wanted to make that part easier.
My role is to listen to what you want, help narrow down the choices, and guide you toward a trip that fits your priorities, preferences, budget, and travel style.

One of the questions I hear from travelers is whether working with me costs more than booking a trip themselves.
My planning services are completely free to my clients.
Travel suppliers compensate me for the work I do, so you don’t pay me a separate planning fee to have help researching, planning, and booking your vacation.
For me, that personal service matters.
You aren’t being passed from one person to another or calling a large booking center where someone has to figure out who you are and what you booked. When you work with Travel with Cindy Lajoie, you work directly with me.
